About the role
 
This role is responsible for providing effective strategic leadership to enable the achievement of the College’s vision, ambitions and strategic priorities. You will have overall responsibility for the development and implementation of appropriate strategies within the operational departments. You will ensure financial compliance and deliver good practice in relation to financial management, risk and compliance. You will have overall responsibility for the College estate and Business Continuity Planning
 
About you
 
Do you have extensive experience of leading a multi-disciplinary senior management team while operating at Board level? Are you a strong strategic leader with a proven track record in shaping strategic delivery who has a good understanding of corporate governance?  Have you lead through change successfully and sensitively with the ability to negotiate at local levels while understanding Trade Unions? Although not essential, a Chartered Accountant qualification and experience of working at a senior level in the Further / Higher Education sector would be desirable.
