As part of the Leadership Team, this role will work with the Principal to ensure the College provides a support service delivering accessible and inclusive lifelong learning. Working closely with the College's Board of Management and SLT to develop strategy, review College performance and provide leadership you will be expected to reflect and promote the reputation of the College.
You will be responsible for delivering transformational change across the College, revitalising the way we use information, data and knowledge. You'll develop talent, inspire innovation and provide the vision that drives the creation of strategies allowing the College to invest in its workforce. Maintaining effective relationships with local, regional and national stakeholders and developing effective relationships with employers and the Scottish and UK Governments is essential when deputising for the Principal and Chief Executive.
Holding a professional accountancy qualification, you'll be able to demonstrate knowledge of Scottish College Funding, budgeting and finance as well as Estates, facilities and sustainable environmental utilisation. Demonstrating a track record of broad experience in College, University, public and / or private sector education-related organisations, you'll work to the highest standard of Corporate Governance
