About the roles

City of Glasgow College is seeking two inspiring strategic leaders to help realise their Board’s purpose to Let Learning Flourish through Inspiration, Excellence, and Innovation. Both roles report directly to the Principal and you will be a key member of the Executive Leadership Team and the Senior Management Team

 

Vice Principal Corporate Development & Innovation

This role offers a unique opportunity to drive the City of Glasgow College’s corporate development, international and commercial growth, and entrepreneurial impact. Working closely with the Principal and Executive Leadership Team, you will shape and deliver strategic initiatives, champion innovation, and lead high-performing teams to achieve world-class service standards and sustainable income generation. As Site Provost for the Riverside Campus, you will oversee daily operations and foster strong local stakeholder relationships. You will also lead the College’s subsidiary, City of Glasgow International Ltd, ensuring compliance, financial sustainability, and global brand visibility. With a focus on risk management, strategic foresight, and continuous improvement, you will inspire a culture of excellence, empowerment, and loyalty across the organisation.

 

About you

You’ll be a dynamic and visionary leader with a relevant qualification and a commitment to ongoing development. With senior experience in Corporate Development—ideally in Scottish Further or Higher Education—you’ll have a strong track record in income generation, budget management, and leading high-performing teams. A confident communicator and relationship-builder, you’ll represent the College with integrity, contribute to strategic decision-making, and bring a creative, inclusive approach to meeting the needs of a diverse community.
