Ypeople

Property Manager

Circa £40,000 - £45,000

Glasgow

Ypeople is a charity with the mission of supporting positive change in people’s lives. This involves us supporting people of all ages who have faced hard times, difficult family circumstances, or personal struggles in any aspect of their life to feel safer, happier and more confident in taking steps to improve their own lives.

Our approach is to build trusting relationships and nurture people’s strengths. Rooted in the heart of local communities across Scotland, our services help to: prevent homelessness, improve people’s mental health and wellbeing, and allow people to become more independent.

The support functions of the organisation are based in Glasgow but they reach across all services in Scotland.

Ypeople have gone through a restructure in the last year which has led to the creation of this post. The organisation owns and manages over 600 residential properties, predominantly in Glasgow.  The properties provide a stable home to individuals and families who need a safe and supportive environment.

The organisation is now recruiting a Property Manager who can lead and deliver improvements to the crucial property management function. The post holder will have responsibility for maintenance, procurement and administration teams delivering repairs, maintenance, and investment works.

The appointed candidate will have experience of managing multi discipline teams within a property management environment and possess excellent knowledge and understanding of property and building management. Ideally you will bring an entrepreneurial approach and strong focus on continuous improvement and performance.
