Glasgow
Voluntary/Non-Executive

For more information please see our dedicated recruitment microsite: https://www.aspenpeople.co.uk/rosehill/

Rosehill Housing Association has been an outstanding example of a community housing organisation since 1987. Delivering high quality housing and supporting services to Glasgow’s Southside, Rosehill is now inviting interest from candidates wishing to contribute to the strategic direction of the organisation through appointment to its management committee.

Rosehill owns and manages over 1,000 homes and delivers factoring services to more than 200 homeowners. With nearly 40 years’ experience as a social landlord, Rosehill has built a strong reputation for financial stability, high-quality homes, and consistent performance.

Following the transition from a co-operative to a charitable registered housing association, Rosehill is widening participation and strengthening governance through the addition of diverse professional backgrounds, fresh perspectives, and a shared commitment to community-led housing.

As a Management Committee Member, you will contribute to the strategic leadership and governance of the organisation - helping to shape priorities, oversee performance, and ensure Rosehill continues to deliver for its tenants and the wider community. We are interested in individuals with skills or experience in:

  • Financial Management
  • Asset Management
  • Any other professional skills

Joining Rosehill Housing Association offers a meaningful opportunity to play a central role in shaping the organisation’s future direction while influencing decisions that have a direct impact on homes and communities across Pollok. As a Committee Member, you will gain valuable governance experience, enhance your professional skillset, and benefit from structured training and ongoing development. Above all, the role provides the chance to make a tangible and lasting contribution within a well-established, high-performing organisation.

The Committee meets monthly, excluding recesses in July and December, and typically at Rosehill’s offices in Pollok. While in-person attendance is encouraged, there is support for flexible participation to enable full and effective involvement. This is a voluntary position, with reasonable expenses reimbursed. A comprehensive induction and ongoing training programme will be provided.

Rosehill and Aspen People are committed to equality, diversity and inclusion, and we welcome applications from all backgrounds. We are particularly keen to ensure the Committee reflects the community it serves.

For a confidential discussion on the role, please contact David Currie at Aspen People on 07517 894 604 or at dcurrie@aspenpeople.co.uk

To apply, please upload your CV and cover letter (as one document). Applicants will be shortlisted for interview by matching the details given in their CV and covering letter against the job description.

Please also complete the below Declaration of Interests and Equality Monitoring forms available here – these can be submitted to applications@aspenpeople.co.uk.
