Are you ready to shape and strengthen the safety culture within a growing utilities organisation? Castle Water, the UK's largest independent business water retailer, is seeking a proactive and credible Health & Safety Manager to take ownership of HSE across its operations.

This is a key role where you’ll have the opportunity to make a visible impact in driving compliance, influencing behaviours, and embedding a culture where safety is everyone’s responsibility.

We’re looking for a practical and strategic Health & Safety professional who can balance hands-on delivery with oversight. You’ll work closely with operational teams and senior stakeholders, ensuring HSE remains a priority across all levels of the business.

What We're Looking For:

  • Regulatory Expertise: Strong working knowledge of UK HSE legislation, with experience ensuring compliance in a regulated or operational environment.
  • Practical Leadership: A hands-on approach to managing risk (Including managing accident and incident reporting, investigations and root‑cause analysis), with the ability to influence behaviours and drive improvements across the business.
  • Communication & Influence: Confident engaging with both site teams and senior leadership, providing clear and pragmatic advice with Regular mandatory reporting to CEO.
  • Systems & Compliance: Experience developing and maintaining HSE management systems, documentation, and reporting processes.
  • Analytical Insight: Ability to monitor performance, analyse trends, and use data to inform decision-making.
  • Professional Credibility: NEBOSH (or equivalent) qualification, with membership of a recognised professional body (or working towards).

Based in Blairgowrie, the role offers a flexible and supportive working environment, with an expectation of regular on-site presence to maintain visibility and engagement.
