Fundraising Manager
Salary: Up to £38,000 FTE (dependent on experience)
Location: Home-based, with occasional attendance at Seescape’s office in Glenrothes
Hours: 0.8 FTE (flexible and negotiable)
Contract: Permanent
We are delighted to be working with Seescape, Fife’s leading charity supporting people with visual impairment, to appoint a new Fundraising Manager.
Seescape empowers people with visual impairment to live safely, independently, and achieve their personal goals. Through a wide range of services, including information and advice, rehabilitation, assistive technology training, befriending, and social activities, the charity plays a vital role in helping individuals lead fulfilling lives.

The Role
Reporting directly to the CEO and forming part of the Senior Management Team, the Fundraising Manager will be responsible for growing and diversifying Seescape’s income streams. The postholder will:
- Secure income from trusts, foundations, and individual donors
- Build strong, lasting relationships with supporters and funders
- Develop and promote digital fundraising, regular giving, legacy programmes, and Seescape’s community lottery
- Manage fundraising databases and reporting processes
- Provide insightful reporting to the Board and Senior Management Team
- Identify and implement new income opportunities and partnerships
This is a varied, hands-on role that offers both strategic influence and practical delivery, suited to someone who enjoys autonomy, collaboration, and impact-driven work.
The Person
We are seeking a skilled and motivated fundraiser who brings:
- Proven experience in fundraising, particularly trusts, foundations, and individual giving
- Strong relationship management and communication skills
- Excellent written skills for proposals, reports, and donor engagement
- A sound understanding of fundraising best practice and charity regulations
- The ability to plan effectively, meet deadlines, and work across teams collaboratively
Experience with eTapestry, membership of the Chartered Institute of Fundraising, or a personal connection to Seescape’s mission would be advantageous.
