Aspen People are delighted to be working in partnership with Dunard Fund, to appoint its next Executive Director. Dunard Fund, based in Edinburgh, provides funding to inspire the performance of classical music at an international standard, and the rehabilitation of buildings with architectural significance.
The role is fixed term for three or four years and the time commitment is expected to be flexible, usually around eight to ten days per month. The ideal candidate will be efficient, with excellent communication, administration, management and team-working skills, and will have a reasonable understanding of management accounts, cashflows, management of bank accounts and oversight of investments, whilst acting confidentially at all times.
They will be expected to attend meetings with Trustees and others, to manage all donations, to have some oversight of the projects being managed, with funding support from Dunard Fund, by each of IMPACT Scotland and the Royal High School Preservation Trust, and to communicate regularly with Trustees.
This provides a passionate individual with the opportunity truly to immerse themselves in the heart of Edinburgh’s cultural sector in a part-time role.
