About the role
The College is seeking an accomplished senior leader with extensive experience in business development, partnership engagement, and revenue generation. The successful candidate will bring a proven track record of driving growth and diversifying income streams in the face of public sector funding challenges. As a key member of the Senior Management Team (SMT), the Director of Partnerships and Income Generation will play a pivotal role in shaping the College’s strategic direction, ensuring its financial sustainability, and securing its long-term success.
About you
The successful candidate will unlock the full potential of Edinburgh College by growing and diversifying income streams through international, commercial, and innovation activities. You will hold a relevant professional qualification, extensive experience, and evidence of ongoing CPD, including leadership development.
A natural collaborator, you will work with curriculum teams, businesses, and stakeholders to identify and maximise opportunities, while leading and inspiring your own teams and contributing effectively across the SMT. Strong relationship-building, problem-solving, financial acumen, and an understanding of sector challenges are essential. An engaging leader and confident communicator, you will champion the College’s values, influence strategic direction, and play a key role in ensuring Scotland’s largest College continues to thrive in a changing funding landscape.
