Barrhead Housing Association (BHA) is an ambitious registered social landlord with a 30-year track record of delivering positive impact for local communities and the economy across East Renfrewshire.
BHA owns and manages 947 homes and provides a range of housing options including general and sheltered housing, alongside a variety of services to support their customers and local communities. The only community in East Renfrewshire, Barrhead continues to deliver new build housing within the local area. The overall quality of BHA’s homes surpasses the national average thanks to continued investment and maintenance programmes.
BHA is the parent of Levern Property Services - a subsidiary providing factoring services - which is currently reviewing the potential to offer a more diverse range of services to create local employment opportunities and generate surpluses for reinvestment in the local community.
The new CEO now seeks a highly competent and collaborative individual to join the executive team as the new Director of Finance & Corporate Services. The postholder will play a key role in leading the organisation and ensuring the continued success of BHA through strategic finance and innovation. The post holds overall responsibility for Finance, HR, IT, communications and will serve as company secretary.
The candidate will be a qualified accountant with excellent people leadership skills and an appetite for innovation. Experience of leading and developing governance will be essential as well as previous success in strategy development.
Experience of working within the housing sector is not a prerequisite for applicants.
