Hanover Scotland provides and manages a range of specialist housing for older people, as well as for families. As one of Scotland’s largest social landlords we currently manage more than 5,000 homes and provide a range of other services including telecare community alarm monitoring and housing with care. Through our factoring service, we also offer experienced housing and property skills to the owners of more than 1,000 properties.
We have developed a range of housing and care choices across the whole of mainland Scotland which includes a choice of rented, shared ownership, shared equity and fully owned housing. To meet the different support needs of older people, we provide sheltered housing, amenity housing (aimed at more active older people) and very sheltered housing and housing with care, offering extra support to residents.
We are a values-led organisation employing around 600 staff across Scotland; we want to help older people feel safe and secure at home and to live fulfilling and independent lives. The passion and enthusiasm of staff, volunteers and Board members has helped Hanover Scotland become one of Scotland’s leading Housing Associations; our people embrace our vision and values whilst aiming for excellence.
