Director for Scotland

Competitive Salary
Glasgow/Edinburgh/Dundee/Hybrid

Are you ready to make a lasting impact in Scotland's housing landscape? Home Group, one of the UK's largest providers of high-quality housing and integrated health and social care, is seeking an exceptional individual to join us as Director for Scotland. At Home Group, we are driven by a mission to build homes, independence, and aspirations. With a turnover exceeding £367 million and housing over 113,000 people annually across England and Scotland, we have a proud history dating back to 1935. We've grown into one of the largest organizations of our kind while maintaining a strong commitment to Scotland and the wider UK.

As Director for Scotland, you will hold overall responsibility for all our operations in Scotland, ensuring the quality provision of our homes and services. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of our operations in Scotland and will work closely with the Home Group HQ to ensure this direction is aligned with the rest of the organisation. Reporting to the Executive Director of Customer & Communites, you will provide clear, creative leadership, working closely with our Home Scotland Board and colleagues to deliver our ambitious targets. Your responsibilities will encompass governance, strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and ensuring regulatory compliance. The Director for Scotland will be successful in running a large portfolio of a complex organisation while keeping our customers at the heart of everything we do.

We're seeking a dynamic leader with a track record of success in large, complex organizations. You'll need to be agile, collaborative, and adept at navigating change in a fast-paced environment. Experience in housing management, regulatory compliance, and strategic planning within the Scottish context will be highly advantageous. We are open to those making the move into the housing sector for the first time, however candidates must strongly evidence transferability and interest.

At Home Group, we value diversity, inclusion, and equality. We're committed to creating a supportive, inclusive environment where everyone can thrive. As such, we encourage applications from individuals from diverse backgrounds, including those from Minority Ethnic or Multicultural backgrounds, the LGBTQ+ community, and individuals with disabilities, and the recruitment process can be adapted to accommodate any particular needs.

Joining Home Group means more than just a job – it's an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives. In return for your talent and dedication, we offer a competitive salary, car allowance, comprehensive benefits package, and opportunities for career advancement. If you're ready to take the next step in your career and make a real difference in Scotland's housing sector, we want to hear from you.
