Director
Inverness Business Improvement District
Location: Inverness
Hours: Full-time (working pattern negotiable)
Salary:  c£45k

Inverness Business Improvement District (BID) is the business-led, not for profit company with the mission of making Inverness City centre a great place to work, visit and do business.

The Director of Inverness BID has a key role to play in the city’s success. Working closely with stakeholders, you will be responsible for delivery of the Business Improvement District Business Plan objectives and themes, community engagement and day to day management of the company.

You’ll have the opportunity to be the voice of the city’s businesses and work in partnership to promote Inverness with the city and the region’s stakeholders. You’ll understand the wide range of businesses the city supports – from retail to hospitality, offices and property owners, all the way from large multinationals to small independent sole traders. You’ll have the experience to deliver projects to improve the fabric of the city and drive footfall.  And as Director of one of Scotland’s City BIDs, you’ll have the credibility to operate nationally to get the best for Inverness through Government wide initiatives.
Ideally, we are looking for candidates who are energetic, highly motivated, and passionate for excellence and innovation in pursuit of business growth, with strong communication skills. Partnership experience, marketing skills and project management would also be advantageous.
