The Role
 
The new Deputy CEO of Firstport will oversee the design, enhancement, implementation, reporting, and oversight of Firstport’s financials, operations, human resources, and compliance. Reporting to the Chief Executive and working as a key member of the Senior Management team, the DCEO will take a leadership role in building, implementing, and overseeing all the organisation’s systems, processes, workflows, and procedures. They will be a key lead for Firstport’s business performance as well as people management, building strong relationships with stakeholders and line managing the Heads of Programmes and Programme Managers. Driving the business direction, they will be a driver of strategic planning and help to forecast business requirements.
 
Who you will be
 
We’re looking to speak to candidates who have experience leading development programmes and working across business support delivery. Knowledge of issues within the social enterprise sphere in Scotland would be ideal as well as a high level of project and people management. You will have an entrepreneurial or commercial flair and experience of working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Knowledge and existing experience of strong stakeholder engagement is a must to be able to compliment existing contracts and relationships that Firstport hold.
