About the role
This role provides academic and operational leadership to a Faculty, working with the Vice Principal (Student Experience) to deliver the College’s Purpose to Let Learning Flourish through Inspiration, Excellence and Innovation. The postholder will shape and implement strategies that raise attainment, close achievement gaps and deliver a world-class student experience, while ensuring the curriculum is agile, industry-relevant and responsive to regional and national needs. They will lead continuous improvement in teaching, learning, and quality enhancement, develop Centres of Excellence, and build strong industry and academic partnerships nationally and internationally. As a key member of the Senior Management Team, the role involves driving innovation, income diversification and Outcome Agreement delivery, managing risk and resources effectively, and inspiring a high-performing Faculty team that models College values and delivers life-changing outcomes for students.
About you
You will be a highly qualified professional with a relevant degree or equivalent professional qualification, committed to continuous professional development. Bringing recent and relevant experience of strategic leadership in curriculum delivery, you will have a proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop staff while driving innovative curriculum planning and delivery. With a strong track record of achieving customer excellence, growing revenue streams, and building effective partnerships with industry, you will demonstrate the ability to deliver high-quality, creative, and financially sustainable learning opportunities. You will be an inspirational leader, capable of managing performance, delivering change, and exceeding ambitious targets, while upholding the College’s values and behaviours. Highly skilled in communication, relationship building, and financial management, you will bring a dynamic, problem-solving approach and the ability to respond effectively to the diverse needs of our community.
