Part time – 21 Hours per week

The mission of the CEIS Group is to tackle inequality, strengthen communities and improve the performance and impact of businesses which contribute to this goal.  As one of Scotland’s largest and longest established social enterprises, it provides know-how, consultancy and intermediary funding for businesses, project support and development to communities and employment support to individuals. The Group comprises CEIS, DSL Business Finance, CEIS Ayrshire and a joint venture with Social Value Lab.
 
CEIS have recently appointed a new Group CEO who has brought a focus on innovation and improvement, leading on internal change to enable better service delivery leading to greater impact for the communities, businesses and people CEIS supports.
 
CEIS is now looking for a Corporate Services Manager. This is a completely new post which reports to the Group Head of Finance & Corporate Services and will be vital in ensuring good governance within the group. The post will lead, develop, improve and develop key corporate services across the group ensuring full compliance with legislation and best practice. The new Corporate Services Manager will play a key role in the management and coordination of HR services – working with an external HR provider.
 
The post holder will also be responsible for Health & safety, facilities management, the risk register, quality management and data protection alongside other vital functions detailed within the job description.
 
Candidates for this vacancy should hold a CIPD qualification or be working towards this with a strong track record in delivering corporate services.
 
Experience of working within the third sector is desirable but not essential, suitability and relevance should be outlined within the cover letter.
