Chief Operating Officer
Glasgow / Hybrid
£90,000

Glasgow Clyde College was formed from the merger of three successful and prosperous colleges in 2013. Since then, staff have worked tirelessly to unite and build on the wealth of strengths and enviable reputations that the legacy colleges possessed. Glasgow Clyde College is now one of the largest and most successful colleges in Scotland, supporting the diverse needs of our communities throughout Glasgow and beyond through our pioneering and award-winning approaches. At the heart of the College is an unrelenting desire to support our communities to improve their prosperity, release their potential, and in so doing, change their lives. The College is driven by the success of our students and the positive impact that we achieve by working in partnership with those who share our ambition and values.

The organisation is now looking to recruit a Chief Operating Officer to join the Executive Management Team.  This role will work closely with the Principal and the Board of Management to provide advice and guidance around governance and risk whilst fostering effective relationships internally and externally.

The College is seeking an innovative, transformational leader responsible for overseeing the operational, legal and financial aspects to take Glasgow Clyde College in a new direction. As well as finance, risk and governance this role encompasses HR/OD, estates, ICT and the student services support function. Being a people centric leader, you will be responsible for three assistant principals, each leading robust teams under their supervision.

Holding a professional accountancy qualification, you'll be a strategically minded senior leader, prepared to bring a fresh approach to a values-driven organisation. Your readiness to take the next step in your career will play a crucial role in guiding Glasgow Clyde College towards an even more promising and expansive future.
