35 hours per week | Permanent

Community Central Hall, a Glasgow-based community charity and development trust is seeking an ambitious, entrepreneurial and values-driven Chief Executive to lead one of Scotland’s longest-established community anchor organisations into its next chapter.

For more than 50 years, we have worked alongside local people to improve lives, reduce inequalities and strengthen communities across North West Glasgow. Today, we employ over 60 colleagues, have an annual turnover of approximately £1.8 million and deliver a diverse range of community services from Community Central Hall and Woodside Halls. Our service portfolio includes childcare and youth services, employability, older people's services, food and crisis/community support, community development, cultural and heritage activities and the operation of two community venues and facilities.

Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Chief Executive will provide strategic and operational leadership, strengthen financial sustainability, develop partnerships and identify opportunities for future growth and innovation.

We are looking for an experienced senior leader with strong strategic, financial, commercial and people leadership skills, experience of working with Boards or Trustees, and the ability to build effective partnerships. Experience of community development, social enterprise or the Scottish voluntary sector would be advantageous. In addition, experience of property management would be welcome.

This is a rare opportunity to lead a respected community organisation with strong foundations, significant community assets and ambitious plans for the future.
