The Role
 
Are you an experienced and personable education professional with an understanding of the independent school sector? St George's School in Edinburgh is in search of the ideal candidate to assume the Chair position, necessitating strategic chairing skills, contextual awareness, and knowledge of the political background within the educational landscape.
 
The role involves an average time commitment of around 5 hours per week, accommodating meetings at the end of the working day, including three council meetings annually, one strategy day, and active participation in committees like Finance, HR, and safeguarding.
 
Your expertise in education, financial acumen, and a keen interest in development and fundraising initiatives are essential to contribute to our commitment to excellence at St George's School.
