Bids Manager
Harper Macleod, one of Scotland’s most progressive law firms, is looking to recruit an experienced Bids Manager to provide tender and bid management support.
Your role
You will be working within our award winning and well established marketing & business development team. You’ll be an established and motivated bid manager who will work closely with our client advisory colleagues in the preparation and delivery of bids and presentations (both public and private sector). You will develop and promote best practice around tendering and the bid process and also maintain a reporting and knowledge management infrastructure to ensure the firm’s tendering process is as efficient as possible.
You, along with others in the team, will also be responsible for the co-ordination of the submission process for the UK’s legal directories, working closely with client advisory teams to prepare practice area submissions.
Skills & experience
- A proven track record of preparing and managing bids and proposals (not necessarily within the professional services sector)
- Sound project management skills and ability to work on multiple projects within deadlines
- Excellent written and technical skills
- Flexibility with the ability to work confidently in a fast-moving environment
- Strong teamwork mentality and commercial understanding
