Education Trustee

East Park is a charity, independent and grant-aided organisation that has provided Education and Supported Accommodation services to children and young people with complex additional support needs, including autism, since 1874. Our philosophy reflects current legislation, best practice and a commitment to excellence.

All our services focus on the needs of the children and young people and encourage partnership with their families and local authorities. Our purpose-built state of the art facilities help us continuously improve our services and skills in working with children from across Scotland.

East Park are now looking to recruit a Trustee with educational experience to support the Chief Executive and the Board to meet its charitable and strategic objectives. The successful candidate will have an understanding of the charity and education sectors,  leadership skills and experience of strategic change.

The successful candidate will also join the Inclusion and Achievement sub-committee. There will be 5 Board meetings per year, and 4 I & A sub-committee meetings. You should be able to devote the appropriate amount of time to the position and attend ad-hoc events when necessary.
