We have a long history in securing, valuing, marketing and selling a wide range of plant & equipment. We value the trust which our customers place in us and have acted on behalf of a variety of sellers including businesses, local authorities, finance companies, insolvency practitioners and executors.
We are now looking to recruit a Plant & Equipment Business Development Manager.
The successful candidate will act in a business development role, ideally with an existing “black book” of contacts who require valuation and auctioneering services, whilst being “out on the road” developing new contacts primarily in Scotland.
You will also have the knowledge, skillset and resourcefulness to reliably value a wide range of moveable assets. You will have / build a network of relevant industry contacts who can be utilised to obtain market information to assist with these valuations.
The ideal candidate will have an industrial / commercial background with experience in business development, buying, selling and valuing second hand assets. You will be a self-starter with the ability to research new sectors and provide well researched valuation advice. The role would suit an experienced individual either on a full time basis or perhaps someone who is looking for a part-time position, as part of a gradual wind down or in combination with other, non-competing, business interests.
