A rare opportunity has arisen for an ambitious, enterprising individual to join Community Enterprise in Scotland (CEIS) as its new Group Chief Executive Officer.
The mission of the Group is to tackle inequality, strengthen communities and improve the performance and impact of businesses which contribute to this goal. As one of Scotland’s largest and longest established social enterprises, it provides know-how, consultancy and intermediary funding for businesses, project support and development to communities and employment support to individuals. The Group comprises CEIS, DSL Business Finance, CEIS Ayrshire and a joint venture with Social Value Lab.
CEIS is looking to recruit a people-focused change maker to lead the business into its next chapter. CEIS will have a pivotal role to play in the recovery from the COVID pandemic. The Group is already looking ahead: showing leadership in how to achieve net zero carbon targets and working to forge partnerships and secure investment. The CEO will play a key role in updating the Group’s strategic focus to strengthen its role and influence as a leading light in the social enterprise landscape.

The CEO will stimulate innovation and encourage it to thrive at all levels of the Group.
