Akva Group is now looking to appoint a Financial Controller (FC), to be fully responsible for the UK’s Multi-Million £ turnover. Reporting to the UK General Manager, and with dotted line responsibility to the Norwegian Group, the FC will form part of the UK Senior Management Team and show a commitment to the entire company’s long term profit generation capabilities and provide a strategic perspective on opportunities, tactical recommendations, and operational improvements.
You will be a qualified accountant, with a “hands on” pragmatic attitude (do rather than delegate), and will have the ability to challenge and drive changes while maintaining strong attention to detail. An understanding of Group reporting and sales rental service would be an advantage; above all you will have a strong desire for excellence and innovation in pursuit of business growth and success.
