Elderpark Housing is a registered social landlord which owns and manages over 1,200 homes across the Govan, Ibrox and Kinning Park areas of Glasgow. The organisation’s mission is “To provide quality, affordable homes and excellent services which place a focus on customers and enhancing our communities.” Elderpark’s community focus extends further than housing services; it has established partnerships across Glasgow to provide greater social impact within its key areas.

Elderpark has been working to create and support better living spaces for its customers since 1975 and now also provides a factoring service to around 240 customers. It boasts a strong reputation within the sector and continues to deliver new homes for its communities, alongside a new head office which was recently opened with a virtual tour.

The organisation is now seeking a new Director of Maintenance Services to lead their Maintenance Team in delivering a high standard of customer service. 99.1% of repairs are “right first time” and 93.2% of customers were satisfied with their repairs or maintenance work in the previous recorded year. The new Director will continue to build on the reactive repairs service whilst looking at the continued improvement of existing stock quality and compliance.

The Director of Maintenance Services will provide strategic and legislative expertise in all areas of maintenance including tenant safety, reactive repairs and procurement. It is also anticipated that in the future this role will hold some responsibility for the future development function.

The appointed candidate will be a strong leader with a customer focus, who delivers high quality services whilst developing team members. They will possess strong knowledge and experience of property maintenance and legislation. Experience within a successful RSL or similar housing related organisation will be essential to take on this role.
