CrossReach
Director of Adult Care Services
Edinburgh
£75,000 pa plus £5,500 car allowance

At CrossReach we offer loving care to people of all ages who are in need of a helping hand, supporting them to live life to the full whatever their circumstances.  We have been at the forefront of high-quality social care for 150 years. During that time, we have worked hard to understand the needs of the people who turn to us for help and with them have been at the forefront of pioneering services which have literally changed thousands of lives for the better.

Today we are one of the largest care providers in Scotland, with experience across a broad range of services. We are still growing, learning and improving, thanks to the incredible people we have the privilege to support, and all those who support us.

Due to retirement, we are now recruiting for our next Director of Adult Care Services.  This role is a member of the Corporate Management Team, supporting corporate decision making and the design and delivery of the organisational strategy. The Director will undertake all directorate duties in relation to Adult Care Services.  This is a strategic role, and you will be responsible for developing the service area, in line with the needs and preferences of those accessing social care services as well as identifying and addressing any gaps.

To be considered for the role, you must have an extensive background at a senior leadership level and a strong understanding of the political arena surrounding the Adult Care sector with current knowledge of the issues and challenges facing the sector overall. You must be able to demonstrate that you have worked at a senior management level, providing direction and leadership to an organisation. Experience of managing a budget and resources is also essential for this role. Please see the Job Description and Person Specification for full details.
