Harper Macleod, one of Scotland’s most progressive law firms, is looking to recruit an experienced Digital Marketing Manager to plan and execute our digital strategy to support the firm, sector teams and service lines. This position sits within the Digital Communications team, which is part of the Marketing team, and principally involves:

  • Website & Social Media Management  you will be responsible for managing the Harper Macleod websites, related microsites, an internal Intranet platform and our social media channels (Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn & Instagram).
  • Digital Marketing Campaigns – you will be responsible for a number of digital campaigns predominately using Google Adwords (Search & Display) but also Bing, Facebook, Twitter & LinkedIn advertising. You will plan, execute, report, optimise and develop profitable digital marketing campaigns and identify opportunities to maximise traffic and sales revenue.
  • Graphics support – you will provide graphics and digital support in the preparation of marketing collateral and credentials documents.

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate a proven track record of creating and executing innovative digital strategies - not necessarily within the professional services sector.  You will also be flexible and capable of dealing with a varied workload, with excellent technical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to work confidently in a fast-moving environment.

Digital skills:
  • Experience of managing successful paid digital campaigns, in particular, using Google and Facebook ads
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices - research, planning, implementing and reporting
  • Understanding of all digital channels including content marketing and social media
  • Ability to interpret performance data (including Google Analytics) and make recommendations/optimise accordingly
  • Experience of managing websites using Umbraco or similar CMS
  • Advanced computer skills including word and graphics packages (including Adobe InDesign, Illustrator & Photoshop)

We are a dynamic business that has been named Law Firm of the Year eight times and we have consistently delivered great results – for our clients and for our people. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package and the opportunity to develop your career which will bring exciting challenges and opportunities for everyone involved.
