Location: Ideally based in/around the Connacht/Leinster areas (but not essential)
Salary: Generous package commensurate with experience

An outstanding career opportunity with a market leading organisation; looking for an exemplary candidate to lead our business in Ireland.

This forward focused global company is looking for an inspiring leader to drive its existing activities into the future. With key strategic initiatives in the commercial, digital and environmental sectors; this is an exciting chance for you to make a real difference.

With an annual turnover of €700 million, ten manufacturing plants and twenty sales companies across the world, our client is the leading global manufacturer and distributor within their sector. Ambitious in their thinking and focused in their approach, they enjoy continued and sustained rapid growth. Partnering with some of the largest multi-national organisations, they provide their customers an unrivalled level of customer support, technical expertise and distribution excellence.

The Country Business Development Manager will join the small, dedicated team in Ireland to work alongside the Irish Commercial Manager, in order to become their successor in 2-3 years.

This challenging role requires an extremely commercially astute and self-motivated individual, with proven experience of managing the business, the team and achieving sales results.  Exceptional communication skills are a necessity.

The ideal candidate will have embraced the changes in customer needs by considering the trend to move away from regular face to face client interactions and leading a modern approach to customer care and account management.

The Business Manager will need to bring digital communication experience and expertise in sales techniques, platforms and social media campaigns and demonstrate new methods to develop and nurture strong trading relationships with all business partners. Excellent IT skills are therefore an essential element of the role.

This is a unique opportunity, offering personal challenge along with genuine career development to the highest level.
